Cheeky in the Media: Mentions and Press Coverage

Cheeky in the Media: Mentions and Press Coverage

When we launched Cheeky, our goal was simple: to create dog toys that actually last. We weren’t thinking about press coverage or media attention — we were focused on solving a problem many dog owners know all too well: toys that get torn apart in minutes.

Over time, something quite unexpected happened. Journalists, local media, and content creators began discovering our toys on their own. Some wanted to learn more about our approach, others mentioned the brand while covering product innovation or emerging companies.

Since then, Cheeky has appeared across different types of media, from newspaper articles to interviews and video features.

For example, an article in Le Parisien explored our approach, noting that our plush dog toys are made using a technical fabric inspired by materials used in protective equipment, which contributes to their durability even with very energetic dogs. Meanwhile, L’Est Éclair shared the story behind the brand and presented our concept as an innovation in the world of pet toys.

More recently, a video published by CNews on its social media channels highlighted the Cheeky concept and explained what makes our toys different from traditional plush toys.

We also had the opportunity to talk about our work on Champagne FM, where we shared how the project started and why we chose to focus on durability.

Seeing independent media take interest in what we’re building is always encouraging. Not because of the visibility itself, but because it shows that people outside the company recognize the value of our approach.

Press coverage isn’t what defines Cheeky. What matters most to us remains the same as on day one: creating toys dogs truly enjoy and that owners don’t have to replace constantly.
